Incidentally, Doug Jones, otherwise know as Billy Butcherson from Hocus Pocus, just so happens to share a birthday with my blog, which I thought seemed rather appropriate. ;)
Amidst all the not-so-fun stuff lately, there have also been some wonderful bright spots, one of which was winning an e-book of Lexa Cain's novel, Soul Cutter, in a giveaway on her blog. If you haven't met lovely Lexa yet, head on over to the Lexa Cain blog.
I will be sharing some other special surprises with you in upcoming posts.
Getting back to the subject of monstrous (the good kind, this time), don't forget May Monster Madness on May 30! You can either sign-up over at the Annie Walls blog or just enjoy the posts of all the fabulous participating bloggers.
I'm so very grateful to everyone who follows this blog and for the wonderful friendships I have made in Blogland!
Happy Birthday, my little bloggy!
Congrats! Such wonderful blogoversary party hats. They go perfect with the expressions on their faces. ;-D
ReplyDeleteYay! on winning a copy of Soul Cutters. I love the mythology behind the story.
Sorry about your health issues. I think April was upset with both of us. Let's hope for a better June, right?
I'm super excited about May Monster Madness. And so is your little Drusilla, the Gothic Girl you won from Shelle and a few of their friends. *wink, wink*
You vixen, you! Such a tease!! Haha. I can't wait for your MMM post, Magaly!!!
DeleteYes, April and May have been misbehaving for both of us! I'm definitely hoping that June will decide to be kinder! :)
Happy bloggy birthday Emma! Thank you for creating such a delightfully dark space, celebrating all that is charmingly creepy and mysteriously ooky!
ReplyDeleteI'm really sorry to hear about your health issues and computer problems - I have my feathers crossed that June is much, much nicer to you than April and May have been :)
Here's to my favourite blog - long may its fabulousness continue! ❤
Aww... thank you, lovely! ❤ I'm so glad you've joined us here in Blogland!
DeleteFeathers crossed for a joyful June! ;)

Haha. Tina Arena! You got it, Sacred Keep! Thank you, so much!! ❤
DeleteHappy blog birthday! Sucks to hear about your health issues. Hopefully everything's better now.
ReplyDeleteMy May has also been monstrous, but in a different fashion. Seeing as how my plans are to watch/review 13 movies (and I had to watch/review a bunch more to get over my 200 reviews point before the 31st), I had plenty of time...until my internet stopped working for over a week. It was SSOOOOO slow! Thankfully I have the time if I make haste.
Thanks, Chris! ❤ I'm starting to feel a bit better health-wise. :)
DeleteI know how frustrating it is to lose internet. We've had sooooooo many problems with phone/internet over the past 2 years. My computer died a few weeks ago. We managed to eventually resurrect it from the dead, but I lost some stuff that hadn't been backed up yet. *sigh*
Aw, sorry it has been sucky! Health problems are the worst! Happy blog anniversary and hope things get better!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! ❤ Yes, feeling unwell just sucks the joy out of everything. Thankfully, I'm starting to feel a little better. :)
DeleteHappy Birthday to your bloggy, Emma! Can't wait for the next 3 years :-)
ReplyDeleteApril was a bitch and thanks to some horrid weather, May is quite a bitch too. Hope you feel better soon. June will be a much cooler, much better month, I'm 100% sure!! <3
Thank you, Maynard! ❤ I hope June is better for both of us!! ;)
DeleteDear Emma, a very happy Blog Birthday to Little Gothic Horrors! What would Blogland be like about your delightfully dark and spooky part of the internet? I think it would be very boring and bland! I always feel so *at home* here - I love it! Hugs and get-well-very-soon wishes, Siobhan xo
ReplyDeleteAww... thank you so much, Siobhan! ❤ You are so sweet! I am so grateful to have met kindred spirits like you here in Blogland! xo
DeleteMake sure you keep an eye out for my next post. ;)
I'm sorry to hear your not well hon. On-going medical issues (which is what I think you mean when you say "chronic") are never fun. I think LGH is one of the first Halloween type blogs I started following and I'm so pleased its now three!
ReplyDeleteLove the hats on the Addams family! LOL!
Happy Birthday and get well soon.
Ali @ http://underanautumnmoom.blogspot.co.uk/
Thank you, Ali! ❤ Yes, ongoing stomach problems with a hiatus hernia/gastroesophageal reflux disorder. A few weeks ago, after being put on a stronger medication, I got very sick and I'm still getting over it. I think I've exacerbated the trouble with stress, so time to get a little zen, methinks! ;)
DeleteHaha. I can't have a birthday party, even a modest one, without including my beloved Addams clan! ;)
Happy Blog Birthday (loved the Doug Jones reference)! :-D
ReplyDeleteI hope you 're feeling better (health-wise).
Thank you, Variations On Light! ❤ Gotta love Billy the zombie!! ;D
DeleteHappy three year! I just started following recently and I like what I see here. :) Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ms. Ladyfair! ❤ It's lovely to meet you!! :)
DeleteThe world is in front of you... happy day, make the world not get the best of you.
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely the plan! ;) Thank you, Jeremy! :)
DeleteHappy Birthday ;o) Lucky number 3 ;o)

Keep up the blog ;o) You are a sweet heart ;o)
Aww... thank you so much, Magic Love Crow! ❤
DeleteSorry you are not feeling well, hope your on the mend soon. Happy blog birthday.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Witch J! ❤
DeleteI'm really sorry you've been so unwell and very saddened to hear you have a chronic health issue. I hope the rest of May continues to bring you wonderful things though. I have yet to read Soul Cutter as the only Kindle in our house belongs to Amber....there are so many other books I wish to read too, but I do so love the feel of paper between my fingers when I'm doing so.
ReplyDeleteHave a perfect Sunday lovely Emma :)
Oh! And happy blogoversary too :D
DeleteThank you so much, Yvonne! ❤ It's just chronic problems with my stomach thanks to a hiatus hernia/gastroesophageal reflux disorder. It's not normally a big deal, but I was put on a new, stronger medication and it made me sick as a dog. I've since switched back to the old stuff, but it's taking me a while to recover. :)
DeleteHappy Blogoversary!!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself dear <3
Thank you so much, linnea-maria! ❤
DeleteSorry I'm just getting around to reading this, but congratulations on your three years. I hope you get feeling well again soon. Meanwhile, I like the photos; especially, the middle one.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Nightwind! ❤ I'm starting to feel a lot better, which I'm very happy about.
DeleteYou mean the photo of Billy the zombie? I particularly love the cemetery scenes with Billy in 'Hocus Pocus'! :)
Yay! Congrats on entertaining us with your quirky and goth posts for three years. I have enjoyed them all.
ReplyDeleteAww... thank you so much, Julie! :)
DeleteHappy 3 years of blogging, Emma!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ms Misantropia! :) I can't believe it has been three years... where on earth does the time go?!!
DeleteI'm sorry your month has been trying and you're feeling under the weather. But CONGRATS on 3 yrs bloggy anniversary!!! You're very welcome for the book. Thanks for the shout out! Now get better real soon, 'coz May 30 is going to be a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Lexa! It's taken me a while to catch up on my responses to comments. I'm feeling a lot better now. :)
DeleteMay 30 was awesome! I loved your quiz... although I certainly didn't ace it! ;D
Sorry you've been I'll, that sucks! Sunshine and Starry nights will cheer you up!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogvesary!! I seen the excitement on Winter Moon and of course Magaly FB news, so curiosity brought me . I will visit all the FAB monsters naturally YES! indeed!
Until next time...xoDebi
Thank you, Debi! ❤ I'm feeling quite a bit better now, thank goodness! It's easy to take health for granted, but when you're feeling unwell, it really affects everything.
DeleteMay Monster Madness was fun! My favourite part of it was all the variety. I love seeing everyone put their own stamp on the monster theme! :)
I too have had some Computer issues.... Lost All "History" a couple months past ... only things saved on line (about all to "survive"...) and a Lot of "life" issues with which to deal as well....
ReplyDeleteFixed of "lessened" most (more than we were expecting dear Lady ....
Our best to you and Yours dear Lady Emma... Stacey / "Dr. Theda"
I'm sorry to hear about all your troubles, Stacey! :( The computer stuff is so annoying, I know! I had most things backed up, but I did lose some emails, and other bits and pieces.
DeleteBest wishes to you! :)
