Creepmas Interruptus

Unfortunately, my Creepmas festivities have been temporarily interrupted by a loss of internet, for the last 4 days, caused by some kind of hacking attempt on the server of my internet service provider. Now that my internet is restored, I will be playing Creepmas catch-up, and responding to the comments that I haven't been able to get to before now. I'm very glad to be back in Blogland!

  1. Ugh, the same thing happened to me during Halloween! Procrastination might have been slowly killing my 31 Days of Halloween plan, but it was my loss of internet for nearly a week that really did it in!

    1. Hi Chris,

I know, it's so annoying isn't it?! You don't realize how much you depend on the internet until it's gone. The worst part, however, was the terrible customer service we received. We clocked up at least 15 hours worth of calls, over 4 days, trying to rectify the problem. I've never experienced quite so much rudeness, contradictory information and lack of assistance. *sigh*

    2. It was like that with me too. The power guys fixed the malfunctioning power box (whatever they're called), then rang (via mobile) me to tell me that my internet and phone line was working again...It wasn't...It wasn't because the numbskulls had fixed the wrong power box! I'm sure the people who lived in the totally different street appreciated the return of their power, which had never actually left! And then I had to wait several more days for them to bother to get back to returning my power! *sigh*

Yep, it sucked! I use the internet for virtually everything, so I was totally jonesing for it after 4 days. I'm soooooo glad to be back in Blogland! :D
