A Very Addams Creepmas: Day 5

Morticia trims the Addams Family tree with delightfully dark baubles.

A cartoon by Charles "Chas" Addams.

    1. Hi Dr. Theda,

Oh, I'm so sorry that things are so bad! You are too kind and I want you to know that my thoughts are with you and I hope that you will have a happy Christmas despite your troubles. I will get in touch, but I'm having big problems with my email today. In the meantime, my very best wishes to you too!

  2. I like that snake that has wrapped itself around the tree. There are always so many little details tucked into his drawings!

    1. Hi Justine,

Yes, it's fun picking out the details on that tree, like the spider webs in lieu of tinsel. It's so interesting that the baubles would have seemed more outrageous back when the cartoon was first drawn, but now, it's not so strange to have things like skulls hanging on a Christmas tree.

    1. Hi Melissa,

I know, right?! I would LOVE to be able to get hold of a bunch of awesome baubles like that! Of course, the snake would have to be fake! ;)
