A Very Addams Creepmas: Day 4

An Addams Family Christmas Tree

The family find the perfect tree, in the episode "Christmas with the Addams Family", on The Addams Family television show (1964 - 1966).

The 13 Days of Creepmas is a lighthearted blog initiative designed to inject a little spooky good cheer into the "Hallowdays". For a little background on Creepmas, and to see the list of Creepers participating in 2012, just click on the link in red or on the Creepmas badge in the sidebar.

    1. Hi pensive,

Yes, I'd LOVE a stylized tree like that in glittery black! :)

  2. A dead skeletal tree is naturally the only choice for the Addams family! I've got the 1964 box set on my Christmas list this year and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Santa brings me it! I've not watched the original series for a long time! ~♥~

    1. Hi Bella Morte,

Oh, I hope Santa is good to you! I got the DVD box set a few years ago and I watch the series all the time. Not that this will come as any surprise to you, but I utterly ADORE it! Haha. I've got my fingers crossed for you too!

  3. :-) it is indeed a lovely family. The pictures reminded me of our own Christmas a few years ago. I was going to buy fake trees for all the children, but i couldn't find for similar ones because they were sold out everywere. Me and the eldest son took a flashlight and an axe and went out in the snow to pick 4 dead trees. They turned out lovely and personal and i didn't have to sweep up needles from the floor.

    1. Hi linnea-maria,

Oh, that sounds wonderful! I've actually never had a real tree because, to be honest, I don't like the idea of cutting down a tree just for Christmas, but using the dead trees is a brilliant notion. I love the stylized look of bare branches.

  4. I don't suppose I could find that episode on YouTube. I must have a boo around the other Creepmas sites too.

  6. A splendid tree, the perfect antithesis to the gaudy sparkles.
